These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Hyeongjo Lim ("Operator") and users in relation to the use of the mobile application Diary Box ("Service").
2. Definitions
"Service" means the application that lets users write notes in a chat-style interface and organize them into user-defined boxes (folders).
"User" means anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
"Content" means text, images, links, and other materials a user inputs or uploads.
3. Effect and Changes
These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or on a page designated by the Operator.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
4. The Service
The Operator provides: chat-style notes (text/image/link), creation and management of user-defined boxes, moving/organizing messages, a unified all-boxes view, and cross-device sync.
Free users may use the Service within the box limit set by the Operator (2 boxes by default, excluding Inbox). Paid features may be introduced in the future.
5. Formation of Contract
The contract is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and completes sign-up via Apple or Google social login.
6. User Obligations
Users must not:
Create or upload content that infringes others' rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
Store or distribute content that violates law or public order and morals
Interfere with the Service's normal operation, or attempt abnormal access or reverse engineering
7. Content Rights
Rights in content created/uploaded by the user belong to the user.
The Operator stores/processes content only as necessary to operate, sync, and back up the Service, and does not provide it to third parties for marketing.
When a user deletes content or their account, the Operator deletes such content in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes / Suspension
The Operator may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with reasonable prior notice where feasible. As a free service, liability may be limited for interruptions due to force majeure or processor outages.
9. Termination and Data Deletion
Users may terminate at any time via More → Settings → Delete account.
Upon account deletion, all data linked to the account (boxes, messages, attached images) is immediately and permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
10. Disclaimer
The Operator is liable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law for this free service.
The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of user content and has no duty to intervene in disputes between users or with third parties.
Users are encouraged to keep separate backups of important data.

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Disputes are subject to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act as the court of first instance.
For users outside Korea, where mandatory consumer-protection laws of their place of residence apply, this section does not limit the rights guaranteed by such mandatory laws.
